Kohler Wastelab takes landfill-bound materials leftover from the manufacturing process and converts them into beautiful ceramic tile as a measure of Kohler’s mission to achieve net-zero waste to landfills by 2035. My role was to create new branding, imagery and video that demonstrated the brand’s circular, sustainable processes, and its innovative transformations. To share Kohler’s unique approach to repurposing and recycling, we shot every step of the process within the Kohler factory, foundry, and Wastelab Studio. The end result is highlighted within the beauty and texture of the tile. There’s a lot to love about sustainable branding.
